Drawing Nyansai & Ciel Phantomhive [New Videos]

Good afternoon everyone, long time no seen.

I have finally after a long time uploaded a video on my channel, actually two videos. The first one is drawing and coloring Ciel Phantomhive, the second one is drawing Nyansai. I wanted to try different things to make my videos interesting so you won’t get bored while watching, it takes more time than I usually do, but I find a lot better than a traditional speed paint videos. Of course it’s still incomplete, so I’m going to do my best to make it better.

If you already saw the videos you will realized I’ve done an voice over. Yes it’s awkward as hell, but it’s one of the things I’d love to do to make my videos more interesting I guess? And also I will be paying more attention to the music I’ll be using so it will fit with the drawing or the video editing.

I wanted to film a new video today for a digital drawing, but my tablet pressure isn’t working, and it’s a problem that drove me crazy for a numerous of time! so I’m not sure when any digital speed paint will be uploaded.

To be honest with you her art style isn’t my favorite, my favorite thing about her illustrations are the coloring! She’s a complete pro at coloring! I wish I can color like this 😀

Drawing Box Updated [Special Post]

Hello viewers and reader and welcome to a special post! I rarely write any special post; because it won’t be special anymore, am I right? I believe if I’m not wrong, the last special post was (3 years ago?) about my drawing tools. Today I will share updated drawing tools storage or now “Box” and I will try to be nice and detailed.

If you subscribed to me from long time, I used to have a baby pink box I got it on my birthday and I stored everything there, but it was so cluttered and hard to find stuff, especially I did not put the tools in boxes, I just throw them there. Then I repurpose my giant pink box and stored my clothes in it, I switched a small white bag that had pockets and compartment inside, which made it a lot neater and easy to grab. However I kept buying new stuff every so often, so my bag did not fit everything in, so I realized I need to upgrade my bag. The pink box and white bag stayed with me for a long term, especially the pink box.

So I bought a tool box to store all my drawing tools in one place! And it’s fairly new, I bought it second year of high school. Here what it looks like.

It’s a simple tools box [356X215X200mm] [14.4” x 8.5 x 8”]. It has a clear lid, with clear compartment/ trays organizers, and black handle/clasp/bottom, all made of plastic. I think it’s a very good size.

This is how it looks when it’s open.

It has three trays, the middle and the last tray have removable dividers, so you can customize the way you like to suit your everyday needs.  I didn’t try and change it, I like the way it is.

In the first tray I have my wooden pencils and two compartments filled with my water color pencils, and in the squared compartment I have plastic sheets and soft pastel instruction and small notebook. I use the plastic sheets for tools that will mess up my box like charcoals and soft pastel, and it’s useful for travel. The small pink notebook doesn’t have the best paper quality but I use it as my markers chart. Each compartment I label it and used a clear masking tape to prevent damage.

The second tray I have promarkers set 1, mechanical pencils, inking pens and promarkers set 2. I have 12 pro markers and for some reason I separated them and put them into “sets” but the labels don’t have a clear tape on it, because I might change it in the future, the only one taped is inking pens.

The third tray has promarkers set 3, sharpeners, eraser and unlabeled compartment. I had a lot of sharpeners but I ended up using them or losing them, so for the moment I own only one sharpener and I put in in my travel drawing pencil case 🙂 That’s why there are cute erasers I bought it in Dubai mall in a bookstore called kinokunyia where I bought Pandora hearts artbook. The last one currently has no use; I just put a really old note pad I use as a pallet.

The bottom has the bulky items! Such as my Faber castell 12 color pencils, my rotring ruler, manga bubble speeches and frames, promarkers instructions, plain paper [to prevent smudging], Faber castell 36 bright pencil color set, soft pastel large 12 colors, copics basic set, Faber castell 24 small color cubs, Perocil pencils soft pastel, perspective rulers, Brushes, water colors, pencil charcoals, empty micron inking pens case and finally a pencil case. I do have a new promarkers set that doesn’t fit my drawing box, but it case its own case so it’s not a problem

All of these items in my drawing box can be easily purchase in your local bookstore or stationary store.

Manga Recommendation [September]

Good evening everyone!

I can’t believe some of you actually like my review! Thank you so much! and since you guys like that kinda of stuff (I like anime and manga too 😉 I remembered the last time I wrote something anime related was Corpse Party blood covered and wow…it’s been long indeed.

I said before I want fill up that category but never did (forgot actually) and since you liked my review, I’m bumped up for more posts today 😀 Remember, commenting is a way too show your support so don’t forget to leave a like or a comment.

I thought for a while on what should I write about, it can’t be on anime because I’ve been neglecting anime since Akatsuki no Yona for stupid reason called laziness, and I don’t feel like watching anything. However I’m still reading manga! So I thought about talking some of the manga I like every month if it’s possible 🙂

Let me open my manga app and get started!

1. Relife.

Chapter:s: 94.

Status: On Going.

I’m not going to mention the story you can look up for it 🙂 but the story simply is talking about the main character Kazaki Arata who was jobless after quitting his company after 3 months, then a certine member of  Relife  research institute came to Kazuki and gave him a pill can turn his body into 17 years old.

Relife is truly one of the rare stories, I really like the idea and looking on the main character grow up. The relationships between the character is funny and cool! Bit by bit you learn about Kazuki more and his past and what with that freak company and more. I feel like Relife is not dark manga but has a dark feeling  which made it rare to me beside the story. It might be fun and entertaining, but it has life lessons too.

2.Cage of Eden

Chapters: 185

Status: Finished

Omg people. If you don’t know Cage of Eden I’ll crush my skull to the nearest wall! Dude it’s one of best manga I ever read in my entire life beside Naruto!! Okay, so the story is about a high school student who are returning to their city after a field trip by an airplane. suddenly the airplane crushed, and the pilot was forced an emergency landing, but it was too late and the plane crashed. The main character Akira woke up in middle of a jungle on unknown island separated from his best friends Kou and Akagami. Later he meet up with a classmate called Maria, and then a cabin attendant, discovering this island is ruled by extinct animals!!

I never read a manga about Extinct animals except in Cage of Eden! Like seriously you will feel like in lost era with all the Extinct animals and plants  and weird diseases and different environment, and what worse it’s a survival situation!

Oh my dear I think I’m going to reread this for the fifth time now.

3. Lan Chi

Chapter: 27

Status: On Going.

Lan Chi is very special, everything about it’s special. It’s actually a Manhawa (Chinese manga) The story goes where a family of five: Mother, father, two young boys and little girl, had a certain accident and lost the little sister. After few years the mother adapted a young girl in a place of her real daughter, gave her her name, her clothes, her room. However the two young boys didn’t like the idea nor liked her, so their first meeting was awful indeed. I though the story is predictable, the boys will love the little sister and live happily ever after, but NO! The story wan much deeper than I thought.

The adapted girl ( The names all in chinese so it’s difficult to memorize) is very quite and mysterious and one of brother is like 20 years adult, both of them hold very serious, dark secrets that I can’t wait to know them!

I wish I could write more, but I’m starving and I need to eat.

Pandora Hearts Artbook -Review-

Good evening everyone! I hope you are all doing okay ❤ Today I will do a review of my very first art book, and that is Pandora Hearts artbook by Jun Mochizuki-san 😀

To make it easier for you I will divide the review into sections:

1. General Information.
2. Quality
3. Artbook sections.
4. My thoughts / rating.
5. Where to buy it.

This is my very first artbook review, so I apologize if I missed something. This review will be informative – because I like to be informative- so this will be a long one. Anyways let’s get down to business!

General Information:

Pandora hearts is actually a manga by Jun Mochizuki who also created Crimson Shell (2006).

Pandora Hearts is the first long series by Jun Mochizuki and was very successful as soon as it was released in Japan, considering both sales and critics, which awarded it to be turned into an animation series in 2009. A clever mix of fantasy and mystery mingled with supernatural inquiries,

So this is how the art book looks.

It has two covers, one that’s on the artbook itself, and the other one works as a decorative for the artbook and you can slip them both easily, and it works as a protection for the artbook.  Jun Mochizuki Artworks ~Odds & Ends~ was published in (2009).

It doesn’t have page number, but it’s very thick book! It is 1.5cm and less than inch.

I brought it 150.00Dhs, which is expensive.

Quality:

This artbook is dwelling in very nice high quality paper; they really did a great job! The very first cover is not completely black –which is very nice- it’s a very dark cool gray and had very light almost gold transparent design. There is a diamond cut out along with cool gold design surrounding it, and the diamond cut out shows the second cover that has the main character Oz showing through. The title as well as the diamond design is slightly embroidered and shabby, I really like it! And it’s a high quality paper and it won’t rip easily. Like the covers, the pages are high quality and all the artworks are high-resolution, and some arts have cut outs too which is so cool. There are no ripped pages/ fingerprints/ dirt/ weird white dots…etc.

Artbook sections:

The book has no dividers, but you can guess if you moved to another section.

There are three sections, the first one is a bunch of cool artworks and it’s the biggest section of the book, roughly 3/2 of the book are artworks by Mochizuki-san. The artworks are mixed of illustrations and colored/ white and black manga pages.

The second section is Mochizuki-san sketches, and it’s less than the first section.

The third section is where the artist comments/talks about her drawing, and it’s just few pages.

The very final two pages have the artist message and one last artwork 🙂

My thoughts / rating:

I assume anyone who bought art book from any artist mean they like their art and they want support them, and I’m one of them. I mean who don’t like having their favorite artist artworks? I bought it not only for fun, but as studying material. I bet a lot of people won’t agree, because it doesn’t have a lot precise drawings like head shots, clothes details, face expressions, different angles…etc. They are true. This art book doesn’t contain any of these. However STILL can be a studying material, at least for me. I have to say I love drawing other people art, and I find copying (Never trace!) helps me understand how things are drawn, not precisely but roughly! So what I will do, I’ll combine what I’ve learned/ understood from the artbook with other books/lessons to make it a lot easier for me! It’s weird like you’re taking a quiz without studying, if you failed, you will view your correct and false answers and then focus on the things you got incorrect to make it correct. (Don’t do it in quizzes though).

Overall, I really do love this book for many reasons, it’s honestly expensive, but it worth your money especially if you consider studying her art like me.

My Rating for it: 10/10.

Three New Videos! Videos Talk :)

Good morning everyone!

I hope you all doing good 🙂 I uploaded three YouTube videos for the past few days, and today I will talk about them, hopefully you will like them all.

Let’s start with watercolor pencils tutorial:

I lot of people struggles with watercolor, including myself. However this tutorial may help you a lot to learn about water coloring, even a kid can paint a master piece!
Pencil watercolors are unlike the palette and tube one, they’re easy to use and you have more control.

To be honest I did not put any remarkable effort in this one, the character is so bad and the video quality is just awful, the whole thing was poorly made and rushed; because I was late from the schedule 😦 Even myself I don’t like it anymore, and I feel this won’t help me or help anybody. I will do it again after long period of time with better qualities.

I brought Pandora hearts Artbook in Dubai just before I go to Brinannia! and when I saw Oz with this cool outfit, I just had to draw him!!
To me this was a big challenge, I don’t have a big varity of copics and pro markers, which made the shading a lot harder and I had to use my trusty pencil colors to shade. I really wish to have a bigger set of markers, especially copics, but I still cannot afford it just yet. I may go to store to buy more promarkers, even though I don’t like it too much in the beginning; because it doesn’t have the brush tip like copics, but they really did a great job with Oz! Now I’m starting to like it ❤

The Artbook was expensive, no joke! but for me it worth it!! I will do a review about it so stay tuned<3

Danganronpa Goodbye Despair-Nanami Chiaki & Monomi Speed Paint

Hello fantastic readers!

A couple weeks ago I finished playing Danganronpa 2 AKA Danganronpa goodbye despair, and OMG. I don’t want to spoil anything, but I have to admit that Chiaki taught me a very important lesson, thus she’s my favorite character in the game.

She taught me to believe in myself and believe in hope, she taught me that you cannot start believing somebody unless you overcome doubt, so when your dear friend doubts you, he does not mean he distrusted you, he wants to believe in you.

It may sound silly to learn these priceless lessons from games and anime, but for me it’s more than that.

I know I did blabber enough about it in YouTube and Instagram; I need to tell why she’s more than that before I delve in drawing. I taught myself to learn the goods and stay from the bad and evil in everything, including games and anime. Which mean what Chiaki taught me for example to believe in hope, how should I do that in real life? She’s talking about believing hope to get off from the island. Well imagine ‘key? You are studying abroad, and a lot of stuff happened and you’re home sick, you have to believe in hope that every bad thing will be gone, you have to stay positive and believe in hope; because if become negative you will be dwelled in darkness and despair, you will turn your life to a living hell.  Don’t be like Enoshima Junko –The Ultimate Despair- full of darkness and despair, be like Naegi Makoto –The Ultimate Hope- full of light and hope; if you want to imitate yourself as one of the characters.

Anyways, let’s talk about the drawing itself now shall we?

I don’t have any idea if I colored on the wrong side, because the colors have like a weird thing going out, I don’t know It’s like the paper is wet and you color over it, Idk if it’s supposed to be like that-It’s paper made for marker, so it won’t bleed through- I don’t personally like it so much. When I sketch on it, I didn’t realize sooner, but it seems it’s that type of paper that smudges so easily so I have to wear gloves.

I like the new marker set though! It’s a present from my bro and its pastely spring color-ish. When I saw the markers I was like: “This color scheme is exactly like Chiaki and Monomi!!  I have to draw them and color them with the new markers!!”

I have an art block, I guess you can tell, very horrible line art T_T I did struggled a lot to draw them.

New Videos are up!

Good afternooon!

I just got my lovely hot tea, and I though now it’s the perfect time to spend it on blogging. Yesterday I actually started my spring break, that was great; because my brain cannot handle any more homeworks and exams anymore 😦 and I have a lot of things I want to do it, and I couldn’t.

Anyways, as the titles says. I have uploaded new video for you guys! and there was a video before the new one which I haven’t talked about yet, so I thought I may share that as well. Speaking of videos, I did recorded and edit a video before my YouTube break and before i study GAT, and it was ready, but I didn’t upload it, then yesterday I recorded a new video and I edited today and it’s ready; this way I have a backup video to upload, rather than nothing; because I tend to spend long hours or even days to figure out what’s the new video will be or what should I draw regardless of the time I spend on my daily duties and school. So the video I finished today will be available to watch next week 🙂

This is the last video I uploaded before my YT break, I was out of ideas, so I thought of really simple drawing that doesn’t take a lot of time and involved coloring. So, I came up with a flower! Now I’m a total beginner when it’s come to flowers and roses, when I draw them from different angles they always appear one dimensional and completely flat! That’s why I always draw flowers from one angle every time, and I don’t really understand the “structure” of the flowers and petals. But what I really like about drawing flowers is to color! I absolutely love coloring flowers; just because it’s all about layering colors, as you can tell I used a lot of colors. It’s was so much to color. About the music, don’t you think about Guilty Crown when you see flowers?

Again I don’t any idea to record, and I need customizes my physic binder cover. I did film a lot of simple designs on all kind of paper I had, and finally decided on this print. it’s so easy simple can be done in less then 10 mines honestly 🙂 I believe the instructions I wrote easy to follow, but feel free to ask any question if required.

Yeah XD LOL. I still remember I published this in the last minute 😛 It was difficult theme. so it was on 2012, the theme was a prince from the 1800 (right?) So in that time I haven’t draw boys AT ALL so it took me days to finish him off. every single day I draw part of him and re draw for like…thousand time! Then I realized how ugly the paper became, so I scanned and then photoshoped! You don’t know how hard, how much effort to line art and color this picture! and i was running out of time! So It was unforgettable day *giggle*

Things changed now, I still cannot draw the body but still good.

Now. My sophie 3rd contest entry!

 

Sorry I couldn’t rotated it 😦 This time I draw it traditionally, it’s because I have better control with the pencil colors more than the digital coloring. This is her character Lia, I messed up with the line art a bit, but that’s ok 🙂

How to draw background (part one)

Good afternoon!

It’s 6:25pm, I just uploaded my awaite YT video how to draw backgraound:

I felt it will be better to have another part of this video While I’m editing the video. The video is soo long and I put all the information and explanation you need to understand well and able to draw. I’m not perfect in background, beside this is my second time drawing a background. Let’s learn together!

Sorry there’s a word mistake in the video, I tried to corrected but it tells me error everytime! So the first word if I remember is “hanged” I didn’t mean hanged, I meant hang it. And “size fits”, only “size” .I do not know why I put fits in the first place =_=

Drawing backgrounds isn’t hard once you have the basic lines right, the picture I drew have two point, however, the lines doesn’t follow the picture, that makes me confused If anyone know please tell me.

Tomorrow I will wake up early this time!4:00am ! I need to wake up 4 o’clock tomorrow so I will have enough time to write my novel. Today I wake up 7:45am T_T and start filming 10:00 and finished 11:30. Then I charged the camera and start editing the video after lunch at 2:15pm. Then I finished 4:00pm. The uploading took 1 hour. and it’s 6:40 now. I’m so tired -_-

Today was really full! Oh and I found a reaaaally beautiful topic! I will write it and see when I can publish it tomorrow. I don’t feel to move now -_-

I will just eat my dinner and watch Sket Dance, before bedtime I read manga or anything, and TRY to wake up early! Help me god!

Update

Good afternoon,

Finally an update post! I will talk about: Light Novel, Drawings, YouTube and Blog updates.

Light Novel: Sleeping Memories:

I’m now writing in chapter 15! and 73 pages. To me, It’s really amazing! I’m thinking to write 25 chapters for the first volume, and another 25 chapters for the second volume and will end. I can’t wait to publish it 😀

The story is moving very well, I have a notebook to write the main events in this chapter. If I’m close to finish it, I will do YouTube preview. 

Drawings:

I’m not drawing much, and I don’t think I will draw more. Maybe in the summer vacation I’ll draw more. I have some drawings, but not much, beside, I don’t have time to post or doing any videos.

YouTube:

YouTube? Do I even have a youtube account? Yeah I have but it’s empty, I don’t do much because of school. If I had time I’ll try making speed videos.

Blog:

I’ve changed the theme, Isn’t nice? I liked the color, it’s very relaxing to eyes.

I’m going to write a new article, It’s will be about “Organizing your life” to be honest, I’m not very organize person, at least not messy. The date is like always.
